Perteet's Pioneer Way Project Earns Greenroads™ “Silver” Award

It’s another award for the Pioneer Way Reconstruction Project in Oak Harbor. On April 10, 2012, Jeralee Anderson of the Greenroads Foundation confirmed the awarding of Silver Certification for the project as judged using the rigorous environmental sustainability criteria established by the Foundation. As noted by City Engineer Eric Johnston, “we are obviously very pleased that this long planned re-investment in our historic downtown could be built in a manner that reinforces our community’s respect for the environment.”
