Perteet focuses its giving on the following priority areas: Youth Services, Education and Community Impact.

These requirements must be met for a request to be considered:

• Must be a 501(c) 3 organization
• Preference is given to those organizations/events that meet the needs of multiple individuals
• Preference is given to organizations/events that support people and programs rather than capital/building campaigns
• Commitments that extend beyond a 12-month period are discouraged
• Note: preference will be given to organizations in which Perteet employees are actively involved

The following are ineligible for funding:

• Individuals
• Sponsorship of athletic teams
• Religious Organizations that limit their services to members of one religious group or those whose purpose of emphasis is to propagate a particular religious faith or creed
• Organizations with limited constituency
• Organizations that have discriminatory policies regarding ethnic background, gender, religious affiliation, etc.

For consideration, please submit the following to Janice Kramer (janicek@perteet.com) at Perteet, Inc. Human Resources 2707 Colby Avenue, Suite 900, Everett, WA 98201:

• Description of the program for which money and/or services is being requested
• Date, place, time of event, if appropriate
• Copy of IRS determination letter including federal tax id number
• List of Board of Directors of the organization
• Recent financial statement
• Other documentation you feel appropriate

Process

• Perteet’s corporate office considers all requests that meet the eligibility requirements
• A committee considers requests quarterly, usually during January, April, July and October. Requests must be received by the 15th of the month preceding the meeting to be considered
• Notification is made within 30 days of the quarterly meeting
• Contribution checks are mailed in a timely manner
