Perteet’s environmental expertise and diverse experience with complex industrial sites made us an ideal consultant to help a private party complete environmental due diligence services in support of a purchase and sale agreement for the property. Perteet applied a number of services from our environmental tool box to help our client make informed risk management decisions about the purchase of a long-time industrial property. The project was complicated by several previous investigations that only partially evaluated the property. Perteet staff were able to efficiently assemble reports from others and complete a data gap analysis that informed the Phase II planning effort. Because of the overwhelming land use restrictions and cleanup liabilities identified by Perteet, the prospective purchaser decided to seek out an alternative property.
