Williams Avenue S and Wells Avenue S Conversion Project

City of Renton, WA

This $6.6M federally-funded project improves four intersections in the highly urbanized commercial center of downtown Renton at S 2nd Street/Williams Avenue S, S 2nd Street/Wells Avenue S, S 3rd Street/Williams Avenue S, and S 3rd Street/Wells Avenue S. Perteet is providing full construction management services on a blended team with the City of Renton.

Our CM team is responsible for project administration, construction administration, and construction observation services. Our team provided extensive outreach and communication with the local businesses and traveling public to maintain both motorized and non-motorized movements while completing the intersection improvement work. Additional coordination and problem solving was displayed when avoiding impacts to the Seattle Public Utilities water main, PSE gas lines and duct banks, several communications, power lines, and a King County sewer main.
