Clients and key industry partners continue to reach out to Perteet to guide them through environmental requirements for major infrastructure projects. For the Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement for the City of Everett, Perteet’s environmental and natural resource professionals supported the bridge design team to develop environmental compliance and permit documentation. This federally funded project involved close collaboration with WSDOT to prepare all necessary SEPA and NEPA documentation in accordance with City of Everett and FHWA standards.
Perteet environmental staff conducted stream OHWM and wetland delineation, prepared Hydraulic project approval applications, and NPDES notices of intent. We also prepared biological evaluations to comply with Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act, cultural resources assessments including management of an architectural historian, an Environmental Justice analysis, and 4(f) documentation resulting from small park impacts. Perteet is designing vegetation and ecological restoration for project-related critical area buffer impacts and for restoration of construction impacts for the new bridge to be built in the same location.
